At times, when I’m traveling, I wake up in the midst of the night in some foreign place, yet I am completely sure to lie in my own bed. Then it gradually becomes apparent that something is different: the size and shape of the room has changed, the bedside tables are somewhere else or nowhere to be found, the door is on a different wall.
